On the morning of June 28, the Enlarged Conference & “Contesting and Learning from Each Other” was held in Jiaxing Port Area by the Party Working Committee to push ahead with major projects of June such provincial-level projects, municipal-level projects for the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and 10 Landmark Projects of the Jiaxing Port Area for the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the CPC. The Conference called on all authorities concerned to intensify efforts to accelerate the process of major projects, settle problems on the spot, serve as the pioneer of Jiaxing to implement the first strategy, help build a transportation hub, an innovative, open and high-quality city, build Jiaxing Port into the most characteristic port in the Yangtze River Delta in sea-river combined transport, the best port in close cooperation with Shanghai Port and Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, the best industrial port in driving local innovation and development, and into the most beautiful and harmonious city with the most charming environment. All the members and some researchers of the Party Working Committee and Management Committee of the Jiaxing Port Area and main local leaders attended the conference.

       The EO/EG invested by Jiaxing Sanjiang Chemical Co., Ltd. is a major industrial project with a total investment of 10 billion yuan and its construction started at the end of last September, but various problems it encountered could not be settled duly because of limited supplies of factors and bad cooperation and its construction was delayed to some degree. The Conference required both the government and enterprise should make joint efforts, assume responsibilities and find the solutions to ensure the operation of the project as scheduled.

       Ruihuatai is the first project with a total investment of 10 billion yuan and a leading digital economic project introduced to the Jiaxing Port Area, but its construction process did not live up the schedule arising from the covid-19 pandemic. The Conference urged all the parties concerned to strengthen the sense of urgency, waste no second, overcome difficulties instantly, provide timely services and make positive measures to complete the construction of the project as scheduled or ahead of time.

       Blue Arrow Commercial Aerospace Center (Phase I) is a landmark project of the aerospace industry of the Jiaxing Port Area and has achieved steady progress since its construction started last year and is expected to be put into operation ahead of two months. In accordance with the Conference, double efforts are required to ensure sufficient construction resources and complete its construction with good quality and on time to lay a solid foundation for the Jiaxing Port Area to produce the first liquid rocket.

As the projects to celebrate the 100^th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, improve urban quality and meet the people’s needs, “Two centers and one park” have achieved smooth progress and overcome difficulties since their construction started last year due to joint efforts and close cooperation of the parties concerned. The Conference required all the authorities concerned to serve the people heart and soul, accelerate the construction and strive to be the best, the first and the pioneer to better meet people’s expectation of beautiful life.

       The Conference published the major projects of 2020 of the Party Working Committee and Management Committee of the Jiaxing Port Area, and the projects listed as provincial and municipal major “Red Flag Projects”, “Early Warning Projects” and “Snail Projects”. The relevant leaders of the Party Working Committee and Management Committee analyzed existing problems and the reasons why some projects were delayed and proposed the suggestions on the work to be done next.
