With higher standards and more forceful measures and joint efforts, we will build Jiaxing into a model city with effective social psychological service systems to make the people care for psychological health, a model city of the common prosperity demonstration zone, and the most wonderful pane of the window of demonstrating the advantages of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics, according to Zhang Bing.

Since June 2019 when Jiaxing was listed as a city to build a national pilot city with effective social psychological service systems, efforts themed by “Psychological Health, Happy Jiaxing” have been made to gather manpower, build service platforms and mechanisms and organize activities, and Jiaxing has built the first free online psychological service platforms in China, a number of “Reception Rooms of Psychological Health” in urban and rural areas, trained many “psychological consultants” , created a number of psychological health service brands, and taken a road of psychological health with Jiaxing’s characteristics. In spite of this, there still exist some weak points to be strengthened and bottlenecks to be moved away when we compare our work with the assessment and examination requirements, people’s expectations and the construction of a model city of the high-quality common prosperity demonstration zone, according to Zhang Bing.

We will strive to build Jiaxing into a high-standard and famous model city of social psychological service systems with a wide coverage. By the year 2025, we will make “ ‘Heart to Heart’ Online” available to all citizens, “Psychological Chat Room” to all villages and communities and “Psychological Consultant” to all regions, get the long-term social psychological service mechanism into intelligent, systematic and professional operation, take the lead in people’s mental health index and familiarity with mental health knowledge, inspire people to form active, reasonable, peaceful, self-respecting and self-confident social mentality, and make the brands “ ‘Heart to Heart’ Online”, “Psychological Chat Room” and “Psychological Consultant” known to the whole country.

We will adhere to the principles of systematization, professional designs, integrated development, digitized reforms and public participation, intensify efforts in training staff, building platforms and mechanisms, providing services, training professional and part-time “psychological consultants”, teachers and psychologists to establish psychological service teams for the people; we will integrate online and offline psychological services, further upgrade the platform “ ‘Heart to Heart’ Online”, build more “Psychological Chat Rooms” and embedded and down-to-earth psychological service platforms, perfect the long-term work mechanisms integrating the systems of assessments, incentives and early warnings; we will strengthen leadership, logistic supports, publicity and education to create a good atmosphere in favor of psychological health.

At the meeting, the platform “ ‘Heart to Heart’ Online” (Version 2.0) began to operate online. Xing Haihua, deputy mayor of Jiaxing, deployed relevant work. Xu Qinmei, a professor of Zhejiang University, issued the “ ‘Heart to Heart’ Online” (Version 2.0), the system of training psychological consultants and the standard of constructing the “Psychological Chat Room”.
