A “new member” was born for the Party building of the associations and chambers of commerce of Jiaxing. Recently, the Party Branch of Jiaxing Financial Industry Federation was established after the efforts made by Jiaxing Federation of Industry and Commerce to promote the development of the associations and chambers of commerce, build more grassroots Party organizations and strengthen the influence of grassroots Party organizations.

The Party Branch of Jiaxing Financial Industry Federation provides a “warm home” for Party members. “With the normalization and institutionalization of Party organizations’ activities, Party members have enhanced their Party consciousness. More importantly, the Party branches of the associations and chambers of commerce have strengthened the Party building in non-public sectors of the economy to lead and promote their own work, enhancing the vitality of the associations and chambers of commerce and the cohesion of the Party members. The Party building has promoted the development of the associations and chambers of commerce, which then promoted the high-quality development the financial industry of Jiaxing,” said an official from Jiaxing Federation of Industry and Commerce.

As a pilot unit for the Party building in non-public sectors of the economy, Jiaxing Federation of Industry and Commerce in recent years has intensified efforts in setting the most excellent example of the Party building in the non-public sectors of the economy, made innovations in managing guilds, trade unions and other regions’ chambers of commerce established in Jiaxing, further expanded and extended service scopes. What is more, this Federation has integrated the work of the Party into the operation process of social organizations, strengthened ideal and belief education in the non-public sectors of the economy with law-abiding and integrity as the center and guided entrepreneurs to be more confident in politics, much stronger in development, and more self-conscious in law-abiding.

“We must always act as a standard Party member, fear no hardship and improve our ability.” In early time, some probationary Party members focused their attention on the Party member education activities organized by the Party Branch of Dongyang Chamber of Commerce of Nanhu District, Jiaxing. In this chamber of commerce, an increasing number of young entrepreneurs have begun to actively move closer to the Party organizations. According to the reporter, those young entrepreneurs hope to improve their quality and political awareness, unswervingly listen to and follow the Party to make a better plan for the road of their life and entrepreneurship.

Considering the Party members are small in some associations and chambers of commerce, the Party Committee of Jiaxing Federation of Industry and Commerce has timely guided and helped some associations and chambers of commerce achieving rapid development establish Party organizations, provide the Party members with the centers for study and activities and set study goals for them. “It is worth mentioning that in December 2020, we implemented ‘The Work Standard on the Party Building of the Associations and Chambers of Commerce directly under Jiaxing Federation of Industry and Commerce. This is the first standard for the Party building in the associations and chambers of commerce, which are able to carry out their work on the Party building in a scientific, institutionalized and high effective way, improving our work brand ‘Federation of Industry and Commerce, Associations, and Chambers of Commerce near the Red Boat are wholeheartedly devoted to the Party,’” said a main official from Jiaxing Federation of Industry and Commerce.

“In addition, we have been intensifying efforts to foster the brand  ‘Red Boat’ Party building, guide the establishment of the Party organizations, and set an example for the national federations of industry and commerce in terms of the Party building in the non-public sectors of the economy through establishing the Party members’ data, formulating the development plan for the Party building and improving the quality of the staff engaged in the Party building,” added this official. Till now Jiaxing Federation of Industry and Commerce has established 36 Party organizations. One of them is Grade-I Party committee under which there are six Party branches in the associations and chambers of commerce in Jiaxing.
