2025 marks the decisive phase for constructing Global Aviation Logistics Hub of Jiaxing. Yesterday morning, Chen Wei, Secretary of the CPC Jiaxing Municipal Committee, chaired the promotion meeting on tacking the problems and difficulties in building the “Global Aviation Logistics Hub as the Opening-Up Platform”. He emphasized we must thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’ important speeches and directives, strictly follow the requirements of the CPC Central Committee and the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee; he said we must adopt problem-solving approaches, implement the “Six Dedications” guideline, and tackle all challenges to advance the Platform’s high-quality construction at full speed. Gao Linghui and Yan Hairong, two other leaders of Jiaxing, also attended the meeting.  

At the meeting, the departments and units concerned reported on the construction progress, key tasks and bottlenecks, and made relevant recommendations. Chen Wei carefully reviewed the updates and engaged in discussions on problem-solving strategies, pathways and resource guarantees.  Thanks to collaborative efforts, Jiaxing Nanhu Airport construction is progressing rapidly, and the construction of the opening-up platform and port is advancing steadily, which is worthy of full recognition, according to Chen Wei.

He said the “Global Aviation Logistics Hub” is a complex and interconnected systemic project; all participating departments must prioritize the broader vision, align perspectives, and closely cooperate to create a cohesive working framework; we must face challenges with confidence and urgency, embrace a pioneering spirit, seize opportunities, leverage policies, strengthen communication, provide higher-level supports and explore innovative models; we must focus on the construction of the critical areas such as the port infrastructure, expansion of Jiaxing Free Trade Zone, cross-border e-commerce regulatory site and designated supervision site; we must conduct in-depth analyses, take proactive responsibilities and efficiently resolve problems; we must strengthen coordination and accountability, integrate the Hub’s construction with opening up, align short-term efforts with long-term operations, optimize division of labor and uphold results-driven practices; we must maintain relentless momentum to ensure the progress can be achieved every year，every month and even every day, according to him.
